a level of structure and an atmosphere of recovery that promotes growth and integration

Our Members will be involved in a recovery program of personal choice to aid them on their way. We will hold regular house meetings to introduce our Members to the process of recovery, in an effort to maximize growth potential and establish a routine for a new way of living upon discharge. We will meet with the members on a 1 on 1 basis to identify areas of accomplishments and areas of improvement alike.
It is our goal that every Member has an equal opportunity to grow, and to face the challenges of life while living clean and sober. Here at the Harwood Houses we believe it is possible to reform and reintegrate the individual when given the chance. Our Staff are recovering addicts and alcoholics who offer a simple solution. As fellow recovering addicts and alcoholics, we have a unique perspective of understanding of the challenges of living clean and sober, and it is our goal to give back with a message of experience, strength, and hope.
